Inspection Standards

KRT uses the AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit) sampling inspection protocol as promulgated by the ISO (International Organization of Standards), ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and the ASQ (American Society for Quality), specifically ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2003 standard and the ISO 2859 standard, both of which have since replaced the MIL-STD-105E standard.

Our Tightened Standards

While others use the normal AQL standard which heavily favors the factory by allowing more minor and major defects, only KRT uses a tightened AQL level allowing less minor and major defects and therefore is much more protective of the buyer.

Receiving Inspection Reports

Inspection reports and photos are normally generated within 12-18 hours after inspection completion. An expedited report processing service is available which allows you to receive your report within just 4-8 hours of inspection completion.

Inspection Report Information

Inspection reports are very detailed, color-coded, and include a statistical accounting and a written descriptions of all defects and inconsistencies discovered, AQL allowable defect rates, AQL scores, AQL within/exceed determinations, and inspector corrective action suggestions to the factory. Digital photos demonstrating both correctly produced and flawed/defective items are imbedded in the report and attached in a separate file.

Secure On-line Report Retrieval

KRT offers a convenient on-line inspection report retrieval and archival system which allows for secure report downloading at anytime and from anywhere you choose. KRT uses an SSL secure site to fully protect your information.

Shipment Approval

Because each client's quality/defect threshold is different, final shipment approval is made by the client.

Payment Options

KRT has its own direct credit card merchant accounts and can accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners, and Discover credit cards. For KRT direct payments, no credit card information is ever transmitted or stored on-line. KRT also supports online Google Checkout and Paypal payment methods, accepts company checks drawn on a U.S. bank or a bank with a U.S. branch, as well as bank wire transfers. Net-15 and Net-30 payment terms are available on approved credit.
